E-portfolio inclusion/disabilities

In this week's lesson, one thing I found most enlightening is the importance of funds in recreation. Seeing how many recreations have helped people with disabilities be part of a community, feel happier, and feel okay with their disadvantages has touched my heart and I loved writing about it in the case study.

For the practicum one of the skills I´ve used the most is being a good listener to help me understand what they go through, what are their struggles, and know how can I help to make their lives more meaningful and fulfilling as well as be a friend and open-minded.

Having a brother with Asperger syndrome one thing I have learned is the creativity he had and how could I make our times meaningful by joining his creative world, one thing he´d love to do was play games as it helped him be part of something in a sense and by joining his videogames it made his days better as now he had someone to play and go to as well talk too that could understand his feelings and thoughts as I put in the time to walk and understood him in this road.
