In this week's lesson, one thing I found most enlightening was learning how to use the people-first language and how is important to first get to know the person first and then bring the disability. I loved learning about how to create a better environment for everyone and how we can help promote inclusion in our own lives too.
This is one thing I will try to use in the near future and apply the techniques in people-first language in my next volunteer work or even social experiences with people with disabilities
